Alright, I want to make backups of my dvd's but everytime during the process of burning my dvd's using dvd shrink my dvd burner will stop working... a few times it will come to a complete stop... this is when i think it causes the skipping.. but also when I burn dvd's using dvd decrypter.... same thing happens it tends to slow down.. I tried it will all my dvd's and they all skipped so I decieded I was gonna download a movie off the net.. "i own it don't worry", I downloaded it... put it on dvd decrypter and it worked glitch free.. i'm thinking maybe it's during the process from going to my dvd to harddrive..?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

dude, it's normal that your burner will slow down, you're making a buckup at the same time, the data will be transmitted less fast. don't do both thing at the same time, when you're burning a dvd or cd, you should never run other programs cause most writers will slow down.

umm i put them on the computer first... then i burn them no at same time

ummmmmm let me check i have an MSI DR4-A

it shows on box

8mb internal buffer
and burn-proof - stops buffer underrun

but why doesn't this happen when burning from dvd decrypter or is't cause of dvd shrink when i'm putting it to hd

get anydvd to take out the protection and copy with clone dvd
