haha this is kinda fun (yah i know i'm a geek)
these ones aren't too hard, but it's still practise
1) -1 + 2x - 6x = - 33
2) - 2 + 7x + 4x = 20
3) 4x + 3 + 2x = 21
4) 10 + 5x + 5x = 100
5) - 68 = 2x + 5x + 9
6) 23 = 3x + x + 3
7) - 3x + 3 - 4x = 3
8) - 4(1 - 7x) = - 88
9) 2( - 5 + x) = - 16
10) 6(-1x - 6) = - 18
11) 5(1x + 1) = 60
12) 3(6x + 8) = 96
13) 2(5x - 9) = 102
14) 2(7x + 5) = 122
15) 7( - 7x - 6) = - 434
16) 7(-1 - 3x) = - 112
17) - 2(4x + 10) = 76
18) x - 7 = 59 + 7x
19) - x - 6 = 36 + 6x
20) 9 + 6x = 5x + 19
21) x + 9 = 5x - 27
22) - x + 3 = - 7x + 63

what about polynomials?

ie

2a^2 +4a + 10 = 0

(2a - 3)^2 - 5 = 2

sweetcivicgurl ... can you send the proof cause I've lost it ....and I really really want it ...

1 = 2 just about means any number is equal to any other number

I was thinking

3(a-4a)+3a-5(a-3+4a) = 4(a+3)+4

but both sides are equal

just made that up quickly

Int(f(x)*g(x))dx = f(x)*G(x) - Int(f'(x)*G(x))dx

with G(x): the primitive function of g(x)
and f'(x): the derivative of f(x)

Now watch the following 'proof':

Int(1/x^2 * 2x)dx = 1/x^2 * x^2 - Int(-2/x^3 * x^2)dx
{just take f(x) = 1/x^2 and g(x) = 2x}

this yields:

Int(2/x)dx = 1 - Int(-2/x)dx = 1 + Int(2/x)dx
substracting Int(2/x)dx on both sides yields:

0 = 1

math is your friend

scientifically speaking...

the ratio of 2543^ -342 is perpendicular when its axis is parallel with the tan of pi multiplied to its derivative with hypergeometric distributions..
