R52 you graduated a few years ago. I have the R60 lenovo/IBM from school no complaints except the hinges are known to break. luckily my right hinge broke while it was still under warranty.
I say go with dell or toshiba though hp compac or fragile lenovo are to ugly and to expensive while toshiba and dell sit as a nice medium.
