the joys of working hard

well as the title says you work hard you experince some of the joys of that ...

personally I just got a very unheard of (in the company I work for) 9% raise mid year. after being a full time employee for about 14 months nowthat brings my total amount of raises to 16.6% which is very very unheard of anywhere... I'm so happy...

so what rewards have you guys gotten from hard work thats been recognized.

In the last 18 months of my job I received $3.25/ hour raise.

Other than that I hate my job, company, etc and only work there cause it pays my bills and I can't afford to quit and go back to school yet. Once all my bills are paid then hopefully I'll go back to school and start enjoying life at my young age.

one time my work gave all part time employees an $800 bonus for working the whole summer. plus we get incentive pay for exceeding out quotas, its an easy way to make an extra $100 bucks a week

I got a decent review about a month ago and got a raise which I didn't ask for. It is a good company, has just about everything you can ask for.

Back when I was working, I received raises in my hourly wages that I didn't ask for! Almost everytime I signed a new contract with them, they just kept on upping my pay. I ended up signing 4 contracts in total so I ended up being there for 1.5 years and saw 3 wage increases!!!

Too bad I don't work there any more.

bdotdan, guy, stay there till you're 30-40. You will be making some nice change

I doubt that they keep the raises going indefenitely, though

I got a lousy ******* 0.25 and hour raise after being there almost a year. That's an insult. I rather they not give me the damn thing at all.
