As long as you had food and water, a smart person could potentially survive many years. If you got hurt or sick, you would probably be dead within a few days depending on the injury. A bug or animal bite could be deadly within hours.

i reality, if there was no fresh water, everyone thinking they would last more than 3 days is nuts. And if you drink the sea water than ur dead even faster.
