Yeah I know equity and all that, gets you into the market. One day we'll have a house... Going to get my credit up to excellent so then we can qualify for ZERO down!

Or I am going to move back to windsor and buy. Its way cheaper there to buy houses... Unlike Grimsby.
lol k, just wanted to make sure u didn't take it the wrong way...

but don't do zero down!! lol unless u have to.. you'll get raped over the interest... even a small down payment 15g's down helps greatly if you can save that up over the coming years...

yea when we bought our last house (me and my moms) we put down 17 its not only good for the intreste but it lowers your monthly payments alot ... trust me ZERO down might sound kool .. but in the end it all add up .. be prepared for 1500+ payments at least

I kinda have the best of both worlds. During the school year, I live in Montreal on my own with no parents on your back stressing you. Then during the summer, I come back here and live with my parents. It's a nice little break from the living on your own lifestyle. Mom's cooking, laundry, all the good stuff for the summer lol.

Parents passed away 4 years ago, so I have lived by myself ever since I was 18... Had an apartment for 2 years and then built and paid for a house... Well a semi...

I wish I had done the whole house thing right off the bat, but yeah, didn't even think about it... So much wasted on an apartment!

i lived with my folks before i moved here five years ago....it was the first time and i love the independence...its expensive but owing your own property has its benefits plus the confidence it gives you.

i did rent a basement the first year plus shared with some bloak...it sucked.

If it's possible, owning owns.
