hey sir-racer, I like your car, atleast what is shown in that thumbmail pic. Do you have any pics of your car? I really like the 6thGen SiR series..
About lowering my car, yeah. I'm planning to get some Eibach Sportlines next month.. Followed by Ingalls Camber Kit and Koni Yellows sometime next year..
Is your ride lowered?

thanks
i dont have many pics of my car on the net, here's one more:
i have coilovers so in the sig pic my car is a little higher than i normally have it. i had it raised for the winter and i still havent lowered it back yet.
btw, when you lower your car you should get an alignment done before getting the camber kit. in my opinion, camber kits arent always necessary. i dont have one on mine and it's fine. all i have are some washers to fix the camber in the rear.

an alignment before? why is that?

that way you'll know how much the camber is really off by. usually it's not enough to warrant installing a camber kit cuz those things arent cheap. and some camber actually improves handling.

Just wanted to say Hi to everyone here at TCC, i'm a new to this place.
This place has a lot of members, whoa.. Looking forward to meeting someone of these people, with these nice rides
Anyways, I got my 2001 Honda Civic LX Coupe about 8 months ago and haven't been doing any mods to it until the spring. Couple of weeks ago I put some 17" rims and tires on it, altezza clear chrome tail lights and got tints.. More to come, intake, exhaust, etc
pics will come also.

interesting about the alignment. i'd definetely rather pay for an alignment than a camber kit.
how much are alignment usually? and, i know this is a stupid question but. What does the camber do anyways?

camber, bye bye tires? what do you mean?
camber, bye bye tires? what do you mean?
this means that whatever edge your tire is riding on will wear out much much faster than normal.
btw, you cant fix your camber by doing an alignment. it just tells you how many degrees of camber you have. anything below 2 degrees of camber and you should be fine. alignment's cost around $60.
