Good Cheap Family 'Non-Chinese' Restuarants
What are some good restuarants in York Region / North-East of Toronto. (Lets jus say not to far from Steeles + Kennedy). I want to eat something different, so sick of chinese food, same old "Congee Wong" and ... etc.
Kelseys is like minimum of $10 a dish so my parents would be comparing 1 takeout box (ie Chow Mien) would be <$5.00. I am so sick of eating chinese food Monday to Friday so why on the weekend too. Please some suggestions

Burgers, Pizza... these are just for lunch and sick.
But thanks for those Italian restaurants, I tried Frankie Tomatoes with my cousin, it was okay and was like $12/each?

404 and HWY 7 has a lot of english restaurants
The Keg (expensive tho now)
Swiss Chalet
Alice Fazooli's
Jack Astors
Montana's (i think?)
There is a montana's at 404 and steeles for sure
East Side Mario's at 404 and steeles has 1/2 price appetizers at night, (approx, $2.99-$5.99) not really good for a meal but good for a late night snack. It's available in the bar area only, so limited seating.
Starwalk Buffet, Mandarin Buffet, Buffet King,
Mr.Greek is really good, someone mentioned it earlier, kennedy and 401..
If u want Greek food <$10.00 u can go to Jimmy The Greek in Scar. Town
Casey's, Kelsey's all their dishes are probably > $10.00 tho..
You can go to the Chinese style English food...
Hollywood in the plaza's attached to Market Village
French (sumthing) inside Market
Firefly or something @ 1st Markham
The restaurant at Middlefield and McCnicoll(sp?) it's cheap here, approx. $5.00 and u get a lot of food.
Galleria @ Commerce
Most of these have some kind of afternoon tea special....
That's all i can really think of...hope it helps
