Im sure this will be turned soon anyways.
Even in the vid under the link the guy said
"we've never revoked a lisense for this before"

Just curious to see what happens, and then what the people on the island do?

they should up the islands residents property taxes to even out the hit the city would take from losing that club there...

i wonder if they'd mind the noise then? CP24 said that the docks averages 30,000 ppl a week...

The Islanders have ruled this city with an iron fist .. they have now shut down the docks and turned the last mayor election into a one issue debate about the Island airport expansion.

The are snobist elitists...

and Connie they live there year round and use a boat to get back to the main land....

they complained about the noise at the Docks for years and the Docks went out of their way to erect sound barriers ... the Islanders can suck my *****. just my opinion.

They broke the law a few times in the past, and were charged/fined, and there is still one more case before the courts supposedly. (these guys just don't get it). I guess this was the next logical step. They had rules about the sound level (which they signed and agreed to) and they broke them..... constantly.

How would you like it if you lived peacefully in an area for decades, and then along comes a big club that said screw the rules. How would you feel? I'd be pissed too.

Come on, the club thinks they can do anything they want down there. They even tried to expand some parts of the club without the nessessary permits. That place has a BIG problem with drunk kids always getting into trouble/fights, and don't forget the drug problems. (just ask the cops in that area for thier opinion)

This is a pdf file from april 2005. (it has been going on for years and years)
