civic doing 160km/h
My dad heard on the radio, with the blitz this weekend, they pulled over a "dumped" civic doing 160 on the highway, and whe he got the $500 ticket he started to cry in the car.
Another guy driving a acura or civic (forget) drove on the shoulder passing about 100 cars, when pulled over he told officers he was doing that because he was afraid his car was going to break down

*sniff* *sniff* "I'm so.." *sniff* ".. sorry officer.."
That should either get me a) beat by the officer for being a sissy, b) a reduced ticket, c) featured on the radio..
Win - Win - Win situation..

Here the CP24 version....
Watching The Wheels
There are only three sure things in life: death, taxes, and a mass exodus from the city on long weekends. The O.P.P. can’t help much with the middle item, but they’re desperately trying to prevent the former from happening during the latter.
Police are out in force on the highways this holiday, taking a ‘zero tolerance’ attitude for aggressive or inattentive drivers, speeders, and people who aren’t wearing seat belts. “We're going to run straight through to Monday evening … and it's going to carry through from Toronto straight up the 400 series highways into cottage country,” explains Superintendent Peter Burns.
Police will also be on the lookout not only for the people in the cars, but the vehicles themselves, eyeing faulty hitches, poorly maintained automobiles and tires, and boats and trailers that aren’t secure. O.P.P. veteran Cam Woolley has seen it all before. “First guy stopped [on Friday] - a 17-year-old guy … doing 162 in his little turbo chainsaw Honda. He starts crying. What a man!”
Fines and demerit points accompany your tickets, and if things are really bad, police won’t hesitate to ruin your weekend by taking your car off the road.

I wish...being female sometimes only gets you reduced tickets...like my 88 in a 50 zone....he let me off with going 15 over....I wish I could cry on demand

160 kms/h on the highway is nothing in a Civic.
They should increase the ridiculously slow speed limits that they have posted everywhere. How many people actually drive 100 kms/h on the QEW? Everywhere you look, whether it's city or highway, most people are going about 20 over. Police are the worst for it... unless they're trying to nail someone who passes them.
