Each team has 11 players and a typical one day game has two innings. Ann inning mean that one side bowls 50 overs (6 deliveries per over) while the other side bats and tries to score as much as possible.

The bowling side tries to take out as many batsmen as quickly as possible with the least possible score on the board.

Once the inning is over..the bowling side bats and tries to make up the score of the first side and if they do, they win the match.

haha i used 2 be a fast bowler back home its a hard game u try run up and down that stip with hockey pads on hahaah

the ball is solid oak with leather wrapped soo tightly around it

u try being a fielder or a batter hiting that

1st time i caught a ball i thaught my hand was on fire it hurt sooo bad

i was in my school team its fun

if u hit the ball u have 2 run 2 the other side but the batter at the other side has 2 run 2 there is 2 batters at 1 time i forget but its not 2 hard

if the ball hits your leg instead of the wicket u are out u have 2 hit the ball nearly every time

Rawalpindi Express eh? Too bad bad he's hurt half the time.

I really like Ntini from South Africa but historically, West Indies has had the fastest bowlers (Ambrose and Marshall). Aussies had some too in Dennis Lillee..

india's batting lineup kicks ***. they have had one of the best batsmen ever. i like the good old days of sunil gavaskar (sunny tonny) to the modern day ones including sachin and dravid. Sachin no doubt is one of the best batsmen ever. the little guy can take one any bowler in the world.

Pakistan's side was never the best in terms of batting but their bowling has been credited as one of the best. Imran Khan, Wasim Akaram (still holding the highest wickets in ODI record), Waqar Younis and now Shoaib Akhtar.

Sri Lanka is also a great team. My favs. have been Duleep Mendis, Roy Dias, Sanath Jasuriya and the Ratnayke bros (Ravi and Ramesh)

FYI for those who dont know...all three countries have been world cup champions.

Terry....WI used to be the bomb in older days. They won the world cup in 75 and 79. Thanks to both their batting and bowling...they had one of the best players ever produced....my fav. WI of all times is the mightly might Viv Richards.

Don't forget Sir Garfield Sobers and Clive Lloyd. But I agree the Master Blaster was insane...

Terry, Lara is now a washed up shadow of his former self. He is no longer the strength of the team as I see it.

No doubt Rajiv...mad respect goes to Sobers and Lloyd. Sobers still holds the six sixes in an over world record with Ravi Shastri of India.
