Man, what a pain in the ***...I think it's time to start looking for a new internet provider...This was one of the main reasons I stuck w/ Rogers for such a long time...

i dont know if any other ISP offers usenet/newsgroups other than Rogers since Bell doesnt offer it. The only option i know of right now is a 3rd party usenet provider like My Blue Si said.

And i dont think the rates will ever go down.

Eh once rogers switched to giganews (I think its giganews) and capped it to 60kbps it started sucking. Before that I used to get 400kbps downloads.

I signed up on newshosting.com 14.95/month unlimited up/down, so far it's working well 600kbps constant on rogers extreme.

I know a provider that charges $10/th unlimited which i'll be signing up with after the 15th. I heard good news about newshosting.com though.
