I have an EM2 dropped on Neuspeed Sport + Tokiko Blues (1.75fr/1.5r). Now i'm stuck on rims!! purpose is DD and spirited road car.

So in the poll are my "budget" choices. If you selected other, please state:
- wheel (manufacturer & model)
- color
- size

Appreciate the response! thanks TCC!!

oh...and here are some pix

Manufacturer: Nippon Racing
Model: F-2 Racing (SlipStream knockoffs)
Color: White
Size: 15

Manufacturer: Nippon Racing
Model: F-1 (GRID knockoffs)
Color: White
Size: 15

if your looking to do a bit of modding then i would go with the F-2's...only because the F-1's the way the spoke curls in it will make them look smaller then they actually are IMO. Oh and loose the hood deflector on the front just my $0.02

I'd go for the F-1's but in a different colour.. maybe a bronze?

Honestly you don't need anything bigger than 15" for performance. Throw some falken 615's on there and you're gold. Plus 15" is A LOT cheaper when buying new tires.

If you want good looks, go with 16's, though it will cost you more when buying new tires.

Oh yeah, out of your choices, I'd go with the grid knock-offs.

i so agree...i like 16s but exactly what you said: cost.
these wheels are around $80/wheel!!
also...maybe slightly more comfortable coz more sidewall too.

thanks for input!!

Yeah, we run 205/50R15's on our race MR2 (see sig) Toyo RA1's. They do not flex much AT ALL.

The side wall height doesn't always dictate how "soft" the ride will be or how much sidewall flex there will be. A lot of it depends on the type of tire.

I had an 03 Civic and I though 15's looked way to small. 17's on an 6th gen looked too big, but I think they look great on an 7th gen. Its a bigger car, so bigger wheels suite it better.

get 15"s or 16"s depending on your budget. dont go any bigger thought. lower the car, maybe a lip. keep outside mostly stock. dont go crazy with c/f hoods/trunks lol. get a nice deck+maybe some subs and good speakers. and everything else in motor.
stock looking car that is fast > f&f car that is slow
