Wondering who has the highest Milage with your Honda!
#23
My mom's 89 DX, she bought it brand new, it's been to Florida, Montreal, NYC, Vancouver, and Casinorama (weekly from Sauga) it has 398,566km on it. It's still running great, just a lil' minor body work in the front, but engine is going STRONG...like BULL!!
As for the 97 Civic EX, it has 144, 500km

I know this is gonna seem kinda low but what the hell.
My '89 CRX has 155,000 and yep its original. I bought it at 138,000km.
I entered it in a contest for lowest milage at N8 but the guy that 1 had 32,000km in his CRX. Yep kilometres
Anyways my dads '96 Jetta has 300,000+ on it. The odometer reset back to 0.
My Topaz (yes Topaz) has 255,000+ Km. Weird...

i got 425000 km on a 90 chevy corsica 3.1L v6, until it had an engine crack and just was not worth fixing/overhauling both the engine and tranny. body was in great shape though.
was going to get a grand am gt until i figured i couldn't afford it. i got a 01 civic instead.

My old boss had over 400,000 km on his Beretta, so they will last but I don't think they are nearly as reliable as a Honda.
My 95 Civic CX hatch will hit 250,000 km in the next couple of weeks and it doesn't burn oil, the engine has never been apart, has never let me down and I'm still on the original clutch and battery. Just regular maintanance. It's kinda sad - I may never drive another make of car again - this Honda has been soooo good I'd be crazy to try anything else.
Next stop 300,000 km!!!

i calculated the engine replacement and tranny overhaul at 5000+ (including labor). because of the high mileage, replacing the engine wasn't economical.
so yes, i guess you can say i drove it til it died....
chevy ohv v6/v8 are good when you replace the oil every 5000 km. taxis are now using chevy luminas with the 3.1 v6 because for an engine and tranny, it's fairly reliable. it just the rest of the car that'll cause you fits.
