was just wondering who has sold a car privately before? im askin this because im selling a car to someone in the US and i was just wondering what kind of paper work i need to do to make it all legit.. where do i get this paper work? and what is everything i need to do.. if anyone can help me.. that would be great..

I'm not sure about the selling to the U.S. if it's any different or what but in Ontario I know all you need is a used car package and you get it at the same place you get the stickers for your plates. The last time I did it the price was $20.

It is still the sellers responsibility to buy the used car sellers package as is or certified dosen't matter.
but like I said selling to the U.S. may be different.

it's the buyers job to export it from Canada and figure out how to do that ... all you have to do is sign over the ownership take your plates off .... hand him the used vehicle sellers package and then hop on the TTC and go home...

*edit* it also be good to hand over the keys
