Where to get a decent muffler?

My crappy tire muffler finally gave way so I'm looking to get it replaced.

What are some reuptable stores that sell and preferably install it? (a portion of the piping that follows the the midpipe to the muffler rusted, which is why the old one is gone.)

PS: Also not looking for anything obnoxiously loud. Any particular brand model?

look in our Performance forum, we currently have a GB going on for a replica Mugen Twin Loop...there is also an article on it along with sound clips to let you hear the loudness

I'd say JPG exhaust, cuz i've been there before i know the owners and they're good guys, Anthony is getting a Magnaflow installed on tuesday so he'll let you know how it goes i guess, that should be the best gauging you'll have to see if you should go there or not, i'd say it's worth it.

If you are looking for a catback system, I would recommend the Apex-i WorldSport. I have this exhaust on my car and it is nice and quiet (almost stock sounding) in normal driving, but also has a nice tone (still not obnoxiously loud) when you really get on the gas. I picked mine up at Speedtech in Scarborough.

Thanks for the info guys.

The mugen clone looks and sounds *amazing*, unfortunately I'm not ready to plunk down ~400$ on my 95 dx coupe.

So a cat back would probably be out of the question just because of price. Looks like I'll have to go with a cheapo solution like a 200$ muffler and and some welding.
