Searching for reputable engine builders

Hello

My name is Dave, I've been searching for an engine builder that would take on the job of building up a d-series engine for me for a turbo project i hope to begin in the turn of the new year.. I've conversated with a few of the guys on the site and acquired some additional knowledge.. my aim is to do it once and do it right. If anyone has suggestions of a shop i could visit in the scarborough area or close surrounding areas it would be much appreciated.

thanks guys..
seasons greetings!

Heard that Gord Bush is great for rebuilding motors.

For turbo set-ups, contact Zeeman or Chris_v2 on this forum.

Welcome to TCC Dave!

If you don't need it over bored, just a hone + 4 piston/rods and bearings I can do it for you no problem.

Otherwise I'd recommend Active engines.

Im not sure if any of you guys have heard of Ducktape Performance. Its a small shop but the guy there is very knowledgable. I think a few people from tcc have worked with him in the past. Mostly from the east end tho.

Hello again guys

Called around to the recommended engine builders...I've changed my mind a few tims because of family issues but current events have opened up space for me to get it done...

Gord Bush: a little too high for me
Active Engine: no answer via email or phone calls...

If you guys know any other builders please let me know!
Thanks

don't cheap out, you'll regret it.

Gord Bush Performance is who I recommend. The cars I tune with engines built by him always make the best power and rarely have issues.
