wondering about the 99-00 model coupes.
i know they came in DX, SE, SI and SIR

my question is other then the DX werent all of them power windows?

and if so was the DX offered with a G package?

i got a car here that has manual windows BUT has a sunroof and cant recall if the DX-G gave it a sunroof aswell or if it was a/c only

anybody recall???

There was a dx-g for sure. As for what it came with, i'd assume it the ac and maybe the sunroof from what you have metioned above.

yea thats what i am thinking too i cant see the dx having sunroof since its a base model. could it be another trim that came with rolling windows???

or maybe it's a DX and the person put in the sunroof? because my car the previous owner had the sunroof installed.

I think the SE came with power locks but not windows

any chance that honda may have offered sunroof as optional on this model and owner got it that way....cuz the dx for sure didnt come with it....not even the dx-g im sure.

mine is a ex-g and sunroof was still not standard...it was definitely an option.

My car is an SE. Came with crank windows, power locks and A/C. No sunroof. The SE was the lowest model I believe offered on Civic for the coupes and sedans.

Edit: My car is a 4dr, but hopefully that gives you a general idea what was standard because I know from my build sheet there weren't many options added to my car..

Se was not the lowest model offered. it was the value package in the civic line-up. DX was the lowest for coupes and LX was for the sedans.

Sunroof was never an option for sedan by honda for canada however it was available for the coupes thats why i am wondering if this car is one of those freak cars that had it.

That is correct. The SE's were a step up from the DX coupe/LX sedan that offered power door locks with the keyless entry. Honda trying to make you feel special to spend that extra cash

my sis has a 2000 se coupe 5 spd.

crank windows, crank side mirrors, a/c, and NO sunroof. no tachometer either even tho it's a 5 spd.

That was Honda for you. They didn't put the tachs in those models, but you can get a second hand cluster with a tach and swap it with your non tach cluster. The feature is there, but Honda put a tach in those models, even though like you said, its a 5 speed.
