question...

if my pw window on the passenger side isnt working because of the switch...do i need to replace the driver side switch AND the passenger side switch? The indow doesnt work from either one so how do i go about finding the part?? Should I just get the driver side one and not care that the pass side doesnt work?

How do you know it is the switch?
In my prelude the driver window stopped working, but it was because the window motor was dead. The passenger one still worked though

I think it is the motor or the wiring.

read the other post about my pw problem, you guys are behind the times! I already looked into all that and established it IS the switch.

ok well I did pack my tools... switch might be fixable by an electronics genius....*looks around*

anyways yeah I'll see it tonight determine whats needed and then since I have saturday off I'll hit up a few junk yard and get the part ....(I love crawling through junk yards) .... and since I might have to hit guelph to take care of some stuff for my sisters school I might be able to drop by your dealership then too ... but that part is a BIG MIGHT ... I'm not sure on that yet....

if the both quit its definately the switch...as you already determined...(cuz if u unplugg one side the other side wont work either) I noticed that when working on my friends prelude, intalling door speakers.... so basically you have to replace the broken switch and all your problems will magically go away ...WEEEE....lol...wont have to replace both....

but they are both broken? I mean the window wont go up from either switch...so which one do i replace? If the driver side one is replaced and the window works i dont care if the pass side works, but i only tested it from the passengers side and the mechanic at work doestn really have the time to take te driver side apart and test it as well and i want to find the part asap...
