(newbie) lurk moar.
yo all.
been lurking for a while, get some of my info from here about my car but
always love the affiliates section so i know what stores i can go to and rely
on (e.g. audioheaven for my tinting and alarm install).
figured i might as well put some sort of effort into joining the community as
a some sort of regular.. or something. i do live in toronto and i do have a
civic, so why not?
currently driving a 4dr eg with bolt ons (could possibly be considered ghetto
compared to most folk). standard fare i/h/e, delsol rims with aging rubber,
pmall coils (i know, i plan to get proper on my suspension next summer).
currently planning on getting some rims and rubber for summer riding but am
thinking of grabbing some final bolt ons (a6 cam, y8 camgear, z6 im)
sometime soon -- just glancing around for those parts and not fully looking
yet. i don't have any cash.
i've had the car for about 2 years now and i was finally able to get some
integra seats to replace the stock ones. much more comfortable,
especially for my long driving.
anyhow.
hoping to try and become a regular here. also planning on pony'ing up for
a membership as soon as i know i can spare the funds. if not to be
recognized as a member, but just to support a club that keeps civics clean
and, from what i can see, discourages ricers.
hope this goes well.

thanks. yeah -- looking at a lot of newer cars and even just different manufacturers,
i'm glad i have it. not really much of a mechanic (first and foremost thing is computers.
was born beside one, spend a lot of money 'em, can't live without one) but the ease of
doing things myself on my car is making all of the other monies i don't use on my comp
disappear pretty damn quick. two fairly expensive hobbies = no money.
the only thing i somewhat don't like about my car is my homedepot lip. the type-r
style one i got from pmall broke within a year and i missed having something there and
can't really afford one just yet. why spend another 100+ on something that never fit
proper to begin with and broke within a year when i could spend that on getting bolt-ins
that'll give me actual gain...
if i can find the cam/camgear/im first.
