Hi everyone i am new here i just bought my fist Honda , well Acura but that's not whats underneath . so ya my first Honda i got a real good deal no rust anywhere but the hood and i am going to get a new hood as soon as i can i have found them all over from 50 bucks to 100 used . i also need a new windshield b4 i can cert the car .
well here's some pics of my new baby i cant wait to get her to the track . the interior is mint super clean and the exterior is faded pretty bad but i will take fading over rust any day . my plan is to add a sway bar to the rear and strut tower braces front and back and then get a set of coil overs , wheels and tires then a CAI then take it to the track .
i already got pulled over the first day i was driving it cause the front plate was off due to seized bolts i didn't get a ticket or anything but i went straight to Canadian tire and attached the plate , the cop also told me not to mod the car or make it faster cause i would be getting pulled over a lot now that i am driving a red Integra .
if anyone knows where i can find these parts all in once place or on the cheep let me know as i would like to get my car to the track soon . i wont be doing anything to the car that will take away from my day to day drivability like slamming the car or adding a fart can . and no tint i want the cops to see i am over 30 lol. oh ya i guess my first mod will be 1 hell of a buff job .
is there any honda/acrua track days set up around the gta ? or even Asian track days ? i guess i will be swinging by p-mall soon .

also if you guys know of any light mods for my motor like a different head or plug wires or something plz let me know . ya i am a honda noob .

Welcome to TCC. Well you can always go LS/VTEC. Which means changing your stock B18 head, and bolting on a B16 head, It's nice little change, and you will notice the difference. Chect out the toronto integra forums, you should have no problem finding parts on there.

A complete head with every thing, sensors, intake, dizzy, cam's, every thing for it, and ECU or chipped ECU. have to be OBD1. then you need a water pump, head gasket, timing belt. It's not cheep to do that swap. it costed me over $800 for every thing, and i got the t-beld, water pump, and head gasket at cost. so it's not cheep. If you just want to add a little more to it, just get a I/H/E

what kinda gains did u get . dose it make the car more fun or really help the power out ? 800 isnt bad i mean if it helps out . i was botting around last night and today and it could use a little low end pull . i do have a header sitting in the grage i am buessing that could help a little its a 4-2-1 .

you do gain some, but you never really know how much more it will. $500 was on the complete head, and the $300 was for the other stuff. You will be paying more then $300 for the other parts, i got it as cost, NOT retail.

right , but i was wondering if it was enough that u were happy u spent the money on it ? will it cost me more then 1k ? and i guess sence i have the header i would just do that as well as a CAI at the same time . but i really have to take care of the glass and hood first i cant stand the speed hole .

Alot of people go with the VTEC head because of the difference, plus you can get more cam's for it. Mine was also turboed.

well you will still need at least the headgasket ($80-100), modify your computer to add vtec and chip it if its obd1 ($100), vtec oil feed line and fittings ($60-100), modify the dowel pin holes to 14mm and plug the stock oil feed hole ($50-100 depending on your machine shop).

Or you could just bite the bullet and buy the Golden Eagle LSvtec conversion kit for about $225 USD and it'll include everything you need (literally) and will be something you can do in your garage (no machine work necessary).

But you're still looking at like $800 or so after buying the vtec head and Golden Eagle LSvtec conversion kit and this is if you're doing all the work yourself.
