Nervousness

hey guys

so i just gave in my car to caraid customs and i dunno i guess im more nervous if anything

basically i went to a collision center and the biggest quote i got was 2300 for repairs but the guys at caraid are painting and lining up my whole car

is this possible lol like those guys do amazing work but im still kinda jittery cuz i specifically took it to them so theyd fix up my whole car but theres quite a bit of work needed and im worried that the costs wont suffice their costs

this is basicaly whats wrong with my car ASIDE from the damage

my bumper has been torn off and re attached flimsily (thanks redline_tuner)
i think i need a new bumper

my hood and front/rear bumpers dont sit properly and the paintjob on half the car is horrible (which is why they want to spray the whole car)

just wondering how much do you guys think lining up my whole car and getting the bumper painted and giving my whole car a fresh coat will cost

like im nervous that they wont be able to do all that with the money the insurance gives them

i was quoted 2300 for the repairs from the collision center and 1800 from the police reporting center

if anything how much money do you think will come out of my pocket

lol i called those guys goin "OMG DID THE APPRAISER COME YET, OMG LIKE RU SURE" so i think im pissing them off lol so thats why im here to **** u guys off :P

if you look at the pic super closely youll see the grille is twisted cuz of the bumper and the gap between the fender and hood is 2 big

you can be nosy and go to the shop before its done and check if its being done properly. maybe be nice to some of the mechanics there.

they'll feel bad about screwing you over if you're a friend..lol

that's all you can do for now...

and oh...front end damage usually needs EVERYTHING to be replaced.

if your front rad support/condensor/rad any of those things were damaged, then you should replace them. make sure they don't try to just bend/pull it back out...replace with OEM parts. $2300 is a lot of $$$

oh that damage isn't too bad...just inspect it METICULOUSLY when you pick it up. usually they wash and shine your car so you're distracted and won't notice imperfections...

but yeah..you should be alright
