Megan Racing = bad customer service
So basically the story is, I bought a set of Megan street coilovers from a member of a different board. When I was getting them ready to put it I found that 1 of the front ones was seized. I tried everything to free it up but couldn't so I called Teknotic to see if I could get spare parts(strut tube and main collar part) After 2-3 weeks of calling and emailing and getting no response from them I called Megan directly(no 1800 # sucks)
Everytime I called there i was told to call back and ask for someone else. When I finally got through to someone he said he'd look into if the parts are available and call me back. 3 weeks later I call and he says he has to call me back again, 3 weeks later...well you get the picture. This started in April.
Finally got a hold of someone again last night and he says he doesn't think he can get the parts. I ask him again if I can buy a whole LF assy, and he says yeah but he has to order it and it will probably be at least a month to get it. Then it would have to be shipped from Cali to Canada. Had he told me that in April I would have it by now.
I was willing to spend money with them, but now not so much. If I cant find what I need I'm just gonna sell them for a loss and get something else. They are is a lowered position, but I want the full adjustability. Kinda defeats the purpose of coilovers if I can't lower/raise the vehicle.
If anyone knows where I can get a LF coilover for an 02 Civic Si please let me know, my stockers are blown(big surprise) and I want to drop my car before the season ends.
