$30-$40 for canadian tire ones, they are good to have anyways. got my 2.5 ton Michelin ones for $34.99 when they were onsale last week
ya, if your that hard-up, buy the canadian tire ones, cover the top with something to protect it, and return it...pretty sad though. just buy em, they are usefull to have for lots of things.

my lowering operation failed miserably today
i returned the free rental on spring compressors.
bushings were siezed and we had no power tools, so instead of snapping the bolts ive decided to wait til spring ( the smarter choice ) and during the winter im going to find some metallic silver or blue lca's so i dont have to deal with bushings and siezed bolts.

I'm getting them cut out tomorrow and then the car will be lowered. I blew an OEM shock, so might as well lower it now.

I had my 98 lowered for the past 4 years without any problems. Unless you car is very low, I wouldn't worry about it.
There are amny other ways of disassembling your suspension without taking apart the LCA's. Scott Newman did mine by removing the upper arm and it seemed much easier then the LCA.
When you do get everything apart, use TONS of anti seize when it goes back together. It will make things much easier in the future.
