I wish I found out about this earlier!

With my birthday coming up it was time to renew my plate to get the new sticker (and pay the new Toronto tax ). I always used to think it was such a hassle because I would go out of my way to get to the license office, wait in line, deal with government bureaucracy, etc.

Then I see on the back of the renewal form there is a little blurb about renewing online! I went to the site, put in my information (including the code from my e-test form), and renewed it without all the hassles and extra travel.

It said that it would take 15 business days for the sticker to get here, I thought that was excessive, but it actually came in 4 or 5 business days.

Just in case you were not aware: serviceontario.ca

Actually, there are some kiosks and it only takes not even 5minutes and you have it right on the spot.

I use one in York university [keel campus] there is one by the library. Get mine/moms/dads stickes all the time. I know there is also a kiosk in sherway gardens by "the bay" entrance.

Wasn't aware that it could be done online, never really noticed that.
I generally use one of the kiosks to renew, there's never a line-up.

Lol I've been getting mine at the kiosk at Meadowvale Town Centre in Mississauga. Usually takes under 10 mins, except the first time I did it where I didn't reliase I needed insurance info and whatnot. I laugh at the constant lineup I see at the Square One licensing office!!!
