i don't see how i'm waisting money.. i could buy an sir for 9 or something? and pay 450+ a month for insurance or i can spend 5 grand on the car.... pay nothing for insurance... and at least the car will be an "sir" interior/exterior don't care about performance like sir sway bar yadd yadda i'm doing all that stuff my self.. tockio blue hp, on eibach springs so.. just interior and exterior i'm changing

Ok, I've got an idea that'll give you cheap insurance and everything SiR... get a 1.6EL. It's a 4 door (cheaper insurance), fully loaded, everything comes in black instead of dark gray. The only thing you would need to do to it is put the B16A into it (if you choose). Other than that, it's basically a 4 door SiR.

why do u need to have something that looks like an SIR but doesnt even perform like an SIR? if u need to have your car look like something its not so badly, just buy some sir wheels and an SIR front end, there, youre set, youll save a bunch of money too that maybe u can save for something neat u dont need to have it look like an SIR to every little detail. do u?

you're kidding yourself if you think you'll get cheap insurance on any Civic. Hell I pay like $350 a month for 2 Civic sedans and that's with a clear driving record, and I'm 24. for comparison, I'd be paying $150 a month if I had two saturns

1999 Saturn SL2 ... $260 / month (18 years old, 1 minor ticket)

1997 Acura 1.6EL ... $248 / month (21 years old, 2 minor + 1 major ticket (speeding, all))
