explain to me...

whats an EK or EG .. i've seen so many of them mentioned all the time.. but i dunno what they mean... and how many of those kinds are there .. and what are they ...

Chassis Code...EG being hatch...not sure of all the other codes...Correct me if im wrong though

EK EG EF
are jdm chassy codes.
usdm ones are like:
EJ EH EP

the numbers after the lettering represtents if its a hatch, coupe or sedan. ie. ek9, eg6, ep3 etc....
