If I were you I would file a complaint with his department etc cause thats bull****. Obviously it was his ignorance that caused the accident so he should feel the consequences. If one of us rear ended someone like that we would lose our liscence prolly.

Exactly, he knew he was at fault and didn't want to look like an dumbass.

Holy ****!
At least your alive and no one else is injured.

Try to get something done about the cop since he cause the whole thing. However something tells me the cop will get off scott free cause that's all that happens with those ****ers.

please tell me your suig the cop for careless driving.
you can say that the cop was either not paying atention to the road, following to closely, or was busy using his on board computer rather than focusing on the road, tell them you also fell scared to drive a car now etc etc... if you are scared of being in an accident again and sue the police force.

well is there any hard evidence the cop was doing something really bad that he was not at all paying attention to the road?

Accidents do happen, and I feel really bad for what happened to your car, but we all make mistakes. Maybe he didn't have enough time to stop the car when the traffic jam happened.

I'm in no way against you, I just feel if this situation was reveresed how you would feel.

i think if it was the reversed way around, the cop would screw him over as much as he can, cause face it the cop wouldn't wanna be blamed for anythin at all and would look for a quick fix

yeaaaaaaaaa... im pretty sure he didnt break at all.... me and the three other cars in the accident all had time to brake in time not to hit each other... the cop went straight into me..
he SHOULD have been paying more attention to traffic.. his airbags deployed so it was sure that he was going over 40 km/h atleast.. and yeah.. we're suing them... cops cant get away with this just because of they're job title... its true that if anyone else caused this accident.. that they would probably lose they're license for a long time... sucky part is!... i dont think money will be too big of an issue just because im not badly injured?.. im bruised up and im a little stiff on my back/neck.. but thats about it...

Take pics of your cuts and bruises, they could come in handy when suing the cop that re-ended you and 2 other cars!
