does the 1993 honda civic hatchback have powered steering

ok so basecly i have been thinking of getting a 93 hatch but my brother has been telling me to get the 2000 sir because it has the b16 blah blah and yest he brought up that the 93 hatch doesnt have powered steering i would want to know if this is true and if its possible to put it in and also if its expensive?

i see a lot of ppl with the eg and they ride fine and i dont wanna get something that ill regreat cus the powered steering is a life saver

ps makes the car easier to drive at low speeds, nothing more.

i seen my teacher with a plymouth duster and he literaly brooke a sweat just taking the car out of the school garage

lol...PS sucks

You have to plan ahead at low speeds.

BTW, the SIR is the most stolen vehicle in north america. Soon it will replaced by the RSX Type-S.

off the track i wouldnt trade my ps for the world but on the track i could do without it . i dont htink i will be taking mine off unless i get hardcore at the track

theres a huge difference between a duster and a civic..

EG's are very easy to drive with no power steering BTW.

i was looking at like ek9 hatch that would be a sick car for me and it would have powered steering

Most Civics have PS, only the lowest end model doesn't I think.

haha totally true but the Type S is number 6 so it still has some way to go but be careful if you have a Caravan hahaha maybe that will be the one to relace the SiR lol

Your comparing a car that weighs and is 2 1/2 timkes bigger then a Civic. Good comparison.

PS is gay in a EG, its just extra weight. The car is so small you don't notice any diffrence uless your parking in a tight spot. And for the track I'll pass.

Hondas came with PS in the 80's???
And yes PS was available in the 92 civic models.
