Mazda 6 = ford fusion.

imo the new volvo v50 wagons are sick. you can get awd turbo and auto (forthe wife), and with the wagon, so much room, and they look awsome.

The mid trim level t5 with awd comes in at $40k on the dot.

I (family) had the previous gen av6 before the TL. Man that thing pulled. It was a beast considering it's big heavy 4 door. Ride was smooth, a lil too soft for my liking, but it's a family car. For value, i say get an accord v6. TSX would be a great choice too. They would handle and drive better than the accords just cause they're tuned a bit better, suspension is stiffer, steering is more responsive. No V6, but the 4 banger on that isn't too too bad.

Why not get a used 3rd gen TL? Loads of power, handles pretty decent, very nice inside. I suggest 3rd cause the 09 TL is fugly. *shivers* and its also much mroe expensive now they got awd-sh in them.

^^They could have done a much better job with the front end. It's very generic looking, especially the grill. That grill bugs me the most.

None-the-less, Hyundai has definitely stepped it up in recent years. Looks to be an excellent car and great bang for your buck value.

I'm really liking the new genesis coupe with he 2.0L 4 cyl turbo and rwd....oh the possibilities...

I was gonna mention that G8 cause i seen the sticker price while i was driving by the dealership and they start at 25000. That would be the basic though for that price.

Can never go wrong with Honda and Toyota.

Pontiac Vibe = Toyota Matrix

Didn't Honda change over to a timing chain?

The thing is though from what I've seen in these economic times, Honda isn't really doing anything to try and lure more people in.

They don't need to. They dumped their racing investments to save millions. Also many of their contract workers have not been renewed.
