Ok so I have one more problem before I succesfully install my deck

Basically the female adapter from my deck won't fit with my civics adapter but the deck I took out was from an acura (previous owner probably put this deck in) so there is a wiring harness for that deck so I was thinking if I should just snip the wires connected to the female adapter of the acura harness and connect the wires to my new deck.

EDIT*** did some research and figured out than im going to have to do some snipping and crimping but theres weird plastic heads on every (well most) of the wires and this weird connector with a red sorta film enclosed ill take a pic when i get home

i have the harness because the previous owner put an acura deck into my civic so the harness is there that connects the two so i can recycle and use that or would it be best to just by new?

recycle it and find a wiring guide for the harness and match it to the wiring guide to the deck's wiring. do a decent job at splicing... take ur time if needed if its ur first time (i assume it is).

i had to fight my car when i was trying to put the pocket frame(dont know the technical term) but everything works fine and looks 95% proffesionally done =]

for sure its his first time, but atleast you did it, congrats, next time you get to doing something like that, try using less cables,in the back of the deck, and mayb just run the cables from the speakers straight to a small amp and just one rca in the back of the deck.(doesnt put so much strain on the deck) Just an idea for the future.
