Piece a turbo kit together with the right parts and it can be cheap. I was going to have a 'custom kit' for $2000. That's not too bad imo.
yeah but will it push 24 PSI? lol

^No....that wasn't my goal...if I had built the internals I could boost more, not 25psi though I doubt.

Bruno, I drove a Civic, they are good cars but they are not the end all of the import world, you need to do a lot and spend a lot to get big results. Hell most every other car owner laughs at us cause 95% of the Civics they see are riced out.I like Civics and all but it's becoming so hard to drive them these days, from cops pulling us over for no reason to people jacking them left right and center. Don't say it's the crazy looking or the done up ones because stock and stock looking ones are feeling this too.
Sorry bro, I've had my run with Civics, I love and miss my hatch to hell, but my time is done with them. If I come off as an ******* sorry, I'm an ***...simple as that.
Maybe one day I'll have another Hatch but for now....it's too much bullshit.

Right now I'm driving my parents car but that's fine with me.
I'm saving to buy an MX6 as I happen to like. The V6 really nice, peppy, car handles good, etc.
Also buying a 750 Katana in the spring.

Err might as well get an old mustang and slap in a Mopar engine. That will eat up about $6000 cnd TOTAL and you'll be smoking 99.99% of the cars on the road (including porsches and ferraris).

Honda's have the highest horsepower per cc ratio of any other automaker in the world. That's why some guys just like "rice burners".

FORD:
1. Fix Or Repaid Daily
2. Found On Road Dead
3. (backwards) Driver Returning On Foot

Oh and then there's P.O.N.T.I.A.C. and then there's Dodge (don't get me started about dodge.

If you really hate honda so much why don't you go check out the new Mitsubishi Lanver Evolution at http://www.mitsubishimotors.com/lanc...ion/index.html

Not all Fords are bad. I had a stang for a bit but was to pricey too keep.

I also never said I hate Hondas, I was thinking about an Accord before I decided on the mx6. I owned one and still enjoy them. It's just the fact that there is a lot of BS from the cops and the cars get stolen a lot....I see at least 1 thread a day on Honda-Tech about someones car being jacked.

I like the EVO but we aren't getting it....doesn't pass front crash test standards.
I can't afford a new car anyhow.

Well yeas that's true...some fords when put into a formaldehyde jar to slow the corrosion just last a few more years than other models...but then again Lenin's brain in the formaldehyde jar is keeping quite well after 80 years...

I wonder how long a B18c block would last in formaldehyde? I'd put it at about 5000 years longer than even a ford focus engine (which seems to be a good quality ford engine...compared to other ford engines that is...)

The Mustang 5.0L was a very strong engine.

No engine can take a daily beating and not being looked after.

Got the car on friday (Oct. 3). Beat :working: the **** out of it in the first hour and slowly I realized it needs a new clutch. I actually called Mr. Rescue (provided by my phone...it's like CAA). Had the damn thing towed to Kingsway Motorsports (1 block east of Royal York & Bloor).

Funny thing happened thou...there were all these guys with the shop logo on their cars with turbos (getting tuned for Cayuga on sunday) and all getting in and getting work done ahead of me all ****** day and here I am with a fried clutch and can't drive my car!!!

I waited around untill the shop closed at 3 pm and then I went home pissed as hell . They said "they'll do their best on monday" but it was not a guarantee...it was not even 50/50.

WTF is wrong with these guys at Kingsway?!? Are they too good to work on stock Civics?!? Anyone else had this kind of experience before?

What's an ITR tranny? And what's wrong with the type R tranny? Everyone says it's one of the strongest trannies out there without dishing out 9G's for a custom one...

Kingsway Motorsports installed the clutch, new brakes and pads for front wheels and $35 Xeon bulbs. All-in-all I'd have to say it was a decent job.

I used to knock civics all the time. I told ppl I would never get one.... then I got one..... And I understood.
(Not that civics are the best cars out there, just so easy and fun)
