From KC about 125Km If we make a pit stop, it'll take 2-3 Hrs.
No pit stop, just over an hour. (if we do 110 like we are supose to do).

We WILL be doing the 110....

Those that exceed that limit and pass the main convoy will get kicked in the nuts when I get down to the meet spot.

I also purposefully left the actual location of the BBQ parking lot spot off the directions which I printed out today to help avoid situations like this.

You don't wait, you don't eat or you travel around looking for where the main body of cars are parked

As for the stop... I had someone suggest to me that stopping at
Fifty Road might be a good idea and I tend to agree... It'll give those a chance coming from TO to stretch their legs etc, refill on gas, grab some breakfast or whatever.

Regards,
OK

I know there is a Husky Truck Stop there where you can get just about any type of colosterol overdose or greese burger you wanna get.

I think there is also a McD's and a Timmies nearby... I never pay attention when I cruise by.

There's stuff nearby... I live in the area. If you go a bit further there's an oasis with Tim Hortons, Subway and all that too.

2-3 hours?? It takes me that long to get to the border in Windsor. Niagara Falls can't be that far. At 110, I'd say an hour and 15 minutes straight. Just about a quarter of a tank for a stock Civic I'd say. Does anyone one know how the traffic will be like? Being that it's a long weekend and all, it might play a factor as to our ETA. And yes, is anyone bringing a boom box or are we going to drain someone's battery for music instead?

Yes we are meeting at KC at 8:30- 9:00. We will be leaving by about 9:20 and going to meet the west end people at their meeting place, then going to Niagara.

As far as I know, it's 8:00am -chinese standard time...being that chinese people are fashionable late, I'll get there at 8:30am. haha. But, as an answer to your question, I do believe it's 8:30am at Kennedy Commons. Then from there I'm not too sure what will happen.

Fashionably Late = Unfashionably Lonely cause if you aren't there by the time they leave the East spot to meet up at the West spot, and then you miss the West Spot you are **** outta luck cause we ain't waiting.

Its gonna be a hot sunny day and the crowds are gonna be bad down there so we're gettin the flock outta dodge nice and early to find a good spot to park ourselves down in the BBQ area.

As for the ETA.. Its as long, or as short, as need be.. We're not breaking any speed records getting down there, plus some folks want to stop enroute which also eats up time.

I figure 2-3 hours is a totally reasonable estimate.. However, if you would like to race your *** down there.. By all means.. feel free (smiles and points to the road).

Just make sure you're paid upfront.

Regards,
OK
