B16 with Type R, Or D16 with t3/t4?

K so its come down to finishing my debate... stick with my d16 and boost, or swap it out for a B16a with type r pistons etc. etc. all the little goodies, both about the same price...

Turbo the D-series. Once that's done enjoy for time being, grab another D-series and build that. Swap and more boost.

If you want power turbo D is the best option and the cheapest probably. Although I read so many people saying do not cheap out on the turbo and get a good tune.

But if you want something reliable that you can drive everyday and it has decent power a swap will be better.

I m in the same boat, in my case I m just keeping my car for 2 more years so I m also leaning more towards a turbo but if i can find a sir engine for under 1000 in the summer then i ll probably just grab that.
