Anybody know where to get hydrolics?
Is there any shops in the gta that does this? I wanted to get hydros in my next car. How much am i looking to spend? Also is there any sites where i can read up about them?

Well - this is not really my cup of tea but I was dealing with a shop in London once and one of the owners had a 6th gen sedan on airbags. The airbags are smaller than hydros so they work a bit better for a compact ca application. Also, the air compressor for the bags was a lot smaller than what is needed for hydros and fit nicely in his trunk.
He had 4 wheel independant adjustables but with airbags he had no ability to 'hop'

The diff is with Hydo your pumping Oil through a shock and Spring (Custom combo) to allow the car to move Up and down. Side to Side with airbaggs your pumping AIR from a compressor into a bag like Object to do the same thing. I have head that air is a smoother ride but doesn;t move upand down as fast as Hydro's do.
I'll tell you this i'v been in a car with Hydro's and It feels like freaken CRAP the worst feeling EVER. As for airbaggs I couldn't really tell you but it's not the greatest.

There was a kid who used to go to Woodbine and 16th with Airbags in his hatchback...
He had more problems with that damn setup then anyone I've ever seen with Hydros...
The problem is.. yes, airbags are great for imports, the compressor is smaller, the power requirements are a bit easier and its more efficent.. downside is they FUBAR all the time..
With hydros its a tested and true practice.. the problem is your trunk will be GONE.. 4 batteries, spare alternator, compressor pump blah blah blah... stuff weights a ton man.. I had a buddy with an El Camino (yes, he was spanish) who had them installed.. Fun to play with for about 10 minutes, but very expensive.

A freind of mine has hydro's on his 5th Gen sedan and it looks mint. The drive is pretty smooth, no problems, in reagdrs to trunk space, if you pay good money there is a lot they can do to move the suff around. Its a cool thing to have but i think its nothing a daily driver would want. His car is a show car, tahst why he has it, but he also does drive the car on a daily basis and does use it when he parks it, he drops the whole thing fully to the ground which makes his car impossible to steal and not to mention his rims, and it looks mint too but its just the matter of being able to do soooooooo much more with that money you know wut i mean. In my opinion get hydro's when your car is fully done bro, nothig else to do and you are left with a wod of cash and you still wanan drop it in the car den go ahead and do it.....not trying to change your mind here, although it seems that way its just my 2 cents....

i don't want to get them for my civic. I was thinking about it for my next car. I dont' even know what my next car would be. I wanted it for daily driving but i guess that's a bad idea. How much would i be looking to spend on hydros or airbags? What's more reliable? Is there any websites i can look at to research about it? Thanks for all your help.
