Maybe next time we can spy on the mini board and crash one of their cusies with a tonne of civics!!
The funny thing is I didn't know you guys were having a meet. I just stumbled accross it and decided to join for a short while.

Feel free to join a MINI meet the only problem is that there aren't that many MINIs yet. Sunday was the best turn out with 4 MINIs and that was including my own. The only problem you'll have in joining is keeping up. hehe

Hey, I just noticed that I spelt my username wrong, it should have been MINICooperS not MINICopperS. Doh!

What was the turn out for your meet like? How many cars?

I didn't think you were that old, lol.
But now I do

There was about 30 cars there at the BBQ.

We actually had a picture day earlier on that day.

Feel free to come out to one of our meets

We have one tomorrow.

Damn.. I miss the Shoot.. Was hoping to go.

I had to do some stuff in the morning time. Got back at 11:30am but i had no ideal where the photo shoot was. SInce i miss the redenvous at sheridan at 10am.

Tried going to the board and check but found no location..

I saw a posting earlier with regards to a place on Lakeshore a little west of erinmills. (where Marty took his shot of his car).
I drove around there and found the place to be deserted.. No luck.. I brought my FRS to see if i can catch a glimpse on any radio but got static... Check Erindale Park to see if the picnic was being held there.. again.. No luck
so i drove home...

Oh well.. better luck next time.

OK enough goofing on my backfire problem... There's something wrong with my turbo setup..... Going to RT tomorrow... Found out there's an object sitting in my catalytic... bleah... When the MINI was following me I wasn't sure if he was following with us for fun (which I thought was pretty kewl) or if he was getting pissed off from us getting in his way.... Now that I know the MINI was cruising with us then Kudo's to the MINI !!! The wing is actually carbon fibre..... oh yeah sorry about the smoke.....

Ya, was having fun. Felt bad for scaring that horse though. Since getting the Cooper S a month ago I've been driving like crazy looking for any little bit of twisty road I can find. Damn Toronto is too grid like. Found a few places and also find myself taking the long way home from work a little too often.

You had an "object" in your catalytic? How the heck is that? Thankfully the black smoke didn't spray me with oil or anything. Turbo eh? Pretty slick. What kind of power do you think you're getting from that? My buddy was going to put a turbo on his Type-R engined 4-Door Integra but it was just too expensive.

I must admitt that I love the supercharger in the MINI. I don't plan to do too much to the MINI, going to add an intake and that's about it. The supercharger needs to breath and the 4 intakes that are now available for the Cooper S are all producing somewhere between 8 and 12 HP at the wheels. Most of the other mods make too little for too much $$$. Most of the tuners have also pulled their plans for a smaller pulley because of complications on installing it. However the after market scene is pretty good. They've already sold something like 125,000 MINIs world wide. Only around 1500 in Canada. And only like 500 Cooper S. John Cooper Works, the largest of the MINI tuners and where the "Cooper" name comes from is producing a BMW "certifed" kit that takes the Cooper S to around 200bhp. all without fargin with your warranty. However it's going to cost around $7500-$8000 installed. Ouch.

Anyways, I'm babbling about my MINI and this is the Civic board. I really didn't want to intrude. Just wanted to say hi and figure out who I was following.

Later.
