tire question
hey everyone!
i just picked up a set of 16" rims and the tires are 205/50Z R16
but i feel that if i lower my ek just an inch the tires will rub.
would i have to change the tires and get low pro's ?!
thanks alot

You will be fine. And for 1" drop you don't need a camber kit.

I roll one as my DD and if your suspension is stock the 17's will fill the wheel gap up nice. If your only dropping 1" you won't even need a camber kit just get an alignment and call it a day.

it shouldnt rub.
i got an eg, im lowered F1.8/R1.9 and i have 15's with 60 profile tires. today i picked up 16's with 45profile, i put one rim on another, and my 15's are bigger lol. so that stated, i had no rubbing with my 15's and im yet to find out how 16s will sit, but im 100% that they will not rub.

You might want to go a little lower profile just to keep the tire diameter the same as stock size. This way your car won't be slower and your speedometer won't read slower than you're actually going because your tire is too tall.
205/50 might be a bit taller than stock size.
I run 205/50R15 on my civic and thats very close to stock diameter, so 205/50R16 may be a bit tall.
I'd suggest 205/45 or 215/40 for your application.
Also, as long as you keep the tire diameter close to stock, and don't go crazy on the width, you should be fine with a 1" drop.
cheers.
