new rims RUBING upper control arm!

hey guys i just recently bought some new rims they are 16" and i have a 1998 honda civic dx hatch and when i put them on and spin one of the rear tires the upper control arm rubs on the inside lip of the rim where you put the weights to balance the tires has anyone ever had this problem ? the car isnt dropped stock suspension oem and also i havent done alignment in a little could this cause it to ? like to much camber in a certain direction? please help if you know i gotta get the car safetyed soon and need to fix it before going

Get spacers. Those rims aren't meant to fit on your car.

Yep. The offset for those rims is not correct for that car. You can use spacers, but depending on the size of spacer, you'd also need extended wheel studs.
