EG Front Rotor problem...
Hey all,
so i decided the other day it was time for some new rotors and pads... Went and bought some from the local shop and went home to change them. Passenger side went smoothly, no problems... Got to the drivers side and the rotor is seized on the hub. I pry'd and pulled and every other thign possible other then heat as i dont have a torch at my place. Any one have any ideas or would my best bet be to take it to the shop so they can use heat to remove the rotor?
Thanks in advance

If you go to a shop they have a tool that they bolt on to the rotor, then a weight slides along a shaft and it cracks off. They'll probably charge you .3 to do it.
Or while it's in the air with the wheel off, just get them to install the 1 side.

you guys realize there are two holes on the rotor just for this purpose. you put in M6 or M8 (I forget) bolts into these two holes, and tighten them, and POP - the rotor falls off. they are the holes not being taken up by the setscrews, they just push against the hub. just make sure you tigten them 1/4 turn each at a time so you don't **** the rotor on the hub.
