code 41 still showing

I installed a new 02, reset my ecu. By this I mean disconnecting my neg. bat. cable for 5 minutes, reconnecting, then turning it on letting the cel go out, then starting it up. It is still show cel (code 41), let me know whats going on guys, thanks.

is it plugged in properly ?
try sanding down the surface of contact .. that is how it is grounded if theres rust there it won tbe grounded

meaning the surface of where the 02 sensor goes into the manifold? There is a header on it aswell, make a difference? Let me know, i want this fixed asap, let me know if anyone has a header that isn't throwing code 41. Thanks.

i had that problem...its the o2 sensor 41 is o2 sensor heater. or some **** reset your ecu by pulling the 7.5 fuse under the hood.....disconnect for few minutes try that

and that should definetly reset it eh? Cuz i don't even think my vtec is kickin in. But theoretically it shouldn't do to it being in safe mode cuz of the 02 sensor heater etc. I'll try that in the morning and let u know. Thanks.

so the cel went out for like an hour, than came back on. when it was off from like 2000-2600rpm it would kinda hesitate, i'm guessing plugs or wires. Seemed like I had a good amount of power opposed to having the cel on. Let me know what u think guys.

How did you do the install? Did you clip the wires or is it OEMstyle with clip?

When I had my old Dodge, I put in an O2, but reversed the wires. Car ran fine, but had an O2 code. Switched the wires back, and light was gone!
