did they take it into the service bay right away from where you parked or took it out on the street for a test drive first?

i have no idea where they took it, as they do not have pictures at the front of "there" entrance to there dealership, only entrance to the back where there service bay doors are, so have no idea, and i didn't check the time stamp on the tapes.
but i'm going to take that into matters tomorrow as well, noting that information down to see if they took it for a test or not.

funny how there isn't a scratch or dent on the door.

door must have been opened when the damage was inflicted.

si98 there's a small slight scratch on the door, ever so small, you can barely tell but its definitely there. if i take a pic, probably wouldn't show thats how minute it is..

yeah man, i know it hurts, very low km's on it, only 30,000 on the car

i asked a guy i know who works at a dealership. he said normally, the mechanic at his shop will make note of any dents/scratches BEFORE he does anything to it. This is to ensure the customer doesn't come back and say "you put this here" if it was there before...

okay what happens if he moves the car first and than inspect it, is that the same, cuz i feel that is different and through the video you don't see him inspecting the car you see him enter the car straight.

service writers should make a habit of inspecting the car IN FRONT of the customer before they bring it into the shop. for $80 to $90 per hour or whatever they charge its the least they can do to ensure piece of mind for both parties.

i'd have to agree with you, thats what they do at car rental places, before they lend the car out, they take a walk with you to look at the inperfections.

Wow. That is one terrible story guy. I do like the writting the article idea, it seems 2 me the best idea to get them back if they wish not to cooperate.

you should put a huge decal on your driver side door pointing to the damage that says: ACURA 2000 IN BRAMPTON DID THIS

I don't understand how a dealership would be so bold as to blame yourself for the damage that they have caused. How the hell does someone keep a straight face when clearly they are to blame. That is no small dent, so its not like it went un noticed. Perhaps on the service sheet you could check to see if they wrote the dent being their since they apparently do a "Walk around" the car which in this case the mechanic did not.

hey maurice,

i haven't even seen that inspection sheet, i didn't even sign anything either, and from teh video it looks like he didn't even walk around the car, but we'll have to see about that one again, i'm going to go review the tape again, this is some serious bull **** right now.

hey thats messed up, sorry to hear that.

if it ever gets to a point where you lose, go there and cause a huge ruckus when lots of customers are there.

and keep telling anyone and everyone about this and make sure no one goes there.

if i do lose, hopefully not, because the evidence shows that my car was not damaged upon arrival, i will have a big huge sticker on my car stating "ACURA 2000 DAMAGED MY CAR" with an arrow showing it.
