i knew i had camber issues but i looked at my tires today and didn't know they were this bad

so i bought a camber kit yesterday and am going to put it on.. it doesn't replace the control arm but it goes inbetween but it has an adjustable balljoint.. its made by eibach

but ye... it says that i need special tools to take off the old ball joint ..d oesn't say what but specialty tool needed now before i start working on it.. do i acutally need it and what is it and can i do with out it?

thanks
Dan

Before you do that, what is your toe setting?

Next time you raise or lower your car, get alignment done right away and set the toe to zero. You can live with a little camber and if you are picky about it, you need to take the tires out and mount them on opposite wheels to correct it. But toe is what kills the tires. Look at drifters, their toe setting is what makes the car drift (along with other things of course).

It is a "fork" looking tool that jams into the ball joint and separates the two. Or a lever like thingy.

Ball Joint Separator?
