2001 civic clutch into 93 civic

Anyone Know if somehow the clutch disk from a 2001 civic would fit into a 93 civic d-series tranny? Appreciate the help if anyones knows.

No. i doubt it.

the d17 is a funny motor. Most d series parts are interchangable. however d17 parts arent.

the d17 has more interchangable parts with K series cars than any other d-series with the exception of the Y8 intake manifold. However it requires modification to fit.

So in conclusion, it wont fit. d17's are poopy engines. i had one.

I put one in my civic once and the disk will fit but the pressure plate sits to far off and dosn't clamp that well. LOL Had to try it.....
