With a G2 license you must have a blood alcohol level of 0 at all times when driving. Not too familar with your charge though, perhaps you would have better luck posting it in the traffic ticket forum

Also, since you are a new driver, if you were drinking that night, please don't drink and drive man, we live in a big city with ttc, cabs, etc... always nearby

12 hour suspension - automatic if you register a WARN (.05 - .08) during a roadside screening.

cummon guys lay off him ...its .08 for f*** sakes, thats like 1 beer...if a somone ever told me that I couldnt drive after 1 beer I tell them to stick it..

I dont condone driveing drunk, but thats compleately different than driveing after a beer... totaly different... Like its .08!!!! LOL!!! You guys are sconeing him like he just ran over a baby carrige all hammered with a keg in the back seat...

Crash_Rx7 go see the Justice of the Peace Tell him you screwed up and you dont think its fair that your getting penalized for driving not drunk...Point out to him that you only had 1 beer over 1hr ago prior to driveing, and that you and your friends were compleatly comfortable with you driveing because you were not drunk or to impaired to make the wrong decision...Just promise him that you will never have any alcohol again period untill you get your G (tell him you learned your lesson...blah blah blah)...

They are very understanding, they are Humans just like you and me 9 times out of 10 the JP will cut the ticket in half and say never let me see your face again, have a nice day

either way.. .08 is still measly..... Dont get me wrong or anything, I think drinking and driving is a crime and people should be punished...the people that are really drunk tho should be punished...get a .08 charge seems like getting charged with a joint in your pocket or something...I would be upset if I got charged for drinking 3 or less beers...but inturn, I guess there are people out there that get wasted off 3 beers...

Thanks for the chart tho, now I know im safe if I drink 4 beers within a couple of hours, instead of only 3...

BoOsTZex, if the guy even had 1 beer then it's still no good coz he holds a G2 license which states that your blood alcohol level must be ZERO. If the person had a G license then this would be a non-issue, but since it's a G2, he's got a problem.

As for you Crash-Rx7, talking to your lawyer is a good start. Or maybe Pointts or something would help too.

Regardless of how much he had to drink and whether or not he was intoxicated, he still broke the law which states that he cannot have ANY alcohol before driving. As mentioned, don't do the crime if you can't do the time. :working:

thanks BoOsTZeX

so what i only had a beer or 2, but i was able to drive like 110%,
ppl arent killed by drinking and driving, ppl are killed by stuiped and unable drivers.. i wouldnt drive if i knew i was even some what impaired..

but ya i have talked to laywer, i cant even talk to the JP, cuz i dont have that option, but my laywer said he will fight it for me, and i maybe let off cuz they will ask for proof, and with a breathe aliazer they reset it if it shows a "WARN", but i will update ppl when or whatever happens...

i dont bash ppl for speedin, why bash for this...

^^^ didnt think of that...if hes under age then it will be hard to get sympothy from anyone, since 2 laws were broken... underage drinking and alcohol with G2...

I got my G as soon as I could...its worth the hasstle of dooing the test, Cops are always harder on G2 holders, in all aspects of driveing, not just the drinking...

"its .08 for f*** sakes, thats like 1 beer." As stated it's the point at which you lose you license.

That's when a full driver loses it, and NOT when a new driver does.

Sorry, just suck it up!
