Unnecessary Noise Ticket
For an "unnecessary noise ticket" HTA 75.(4):
1) Is this a moving violation? 2) Will it affect insurance premimum? |
it won't effect your insurance
|
so only moving violations affect you insurance?
|
yes only moving violations affect your ins. Even if you get a speeding ticket of 1klm over, ins can count it against you.
|
insurance companies could see this ticket on your record, findo ut if you have an aftermarket exhaust and then charge you more premium for having more expensive, aftermarket parts on your vehicle, but that involves a lot of work between your broker or agent and the underwriter (in short this only happens about 1 in 100 times)

Insurance companies don't like people that cross the law....they are more likely to have "problems". These "problems" can make the insurance companies think...."Why does this person have so many tickets for things like tint's, parking, muffler....ect...are they a higher risk?" They WILL look into it.......and if they find out you've had done mods to your car, and have not reported them, they will have grounds for dismissing your coverage. And you DON'T want that to be on your record. :tsk: (these were the words out of two of my freind's mouth's....one from State Farm.....the other from Zurich). (in short this only happens about 1 in 100 times) ANY type of ticket looks bad. Period. |

According to my friends....this is happening more often than you think. ANY type of ticket looks bad. Period. |
