Quick Question

are front license plates mandatory in ontario or just the rear plates?
reason being, is that the new civic looks better with a clean front

in canada you have to have a licsence plate visible from the front of the car. now, i'm not too sure if you can have it on the dash or not, seen a few people with that. but you must have a plate in the front

its a provincial law, not federal (quebec for example doesn't have this).....I am unsure of the dash, but pretty sure its not legal

i personally hate the look of having a license plate on the front of a car especially on a coupe ...it looks out of place

I see you haven't been reading my posts.

I don't think it's that stupid. a lot of people get illegal tints.. exhausts.. or drive in excess speed of the government blackmail amount... we test to see if we get charged...

I did the same thing while driving a porsche, I told the officer that the bracket was broken and it had to be ordered in, he said he didnt care, I even had it on my dash, again said that its not right, I should have had it fixed to the front of the car some how, I got the ticket for $110, wasnt even my car!!!!

When I had my aftermarket bumper, I had it taken off at one point and placed it behind my driver seat. One time, went through a road bloack (R.I.D.E. I guess) and non of the officers said a thing, and I was driving towards them.

But that wasn't right. Some time after, I put it back on. If you can avoid being fined, you really should.

Bruce, i don't take anything you say literally

alot of those people you speak of also wonder why they're "hassled" by the cops all the time

as for the plate "looking out of place" honestly who gives a fawk?
do you think you can pick and choose which laws to abide by and which you don't?
