licence plate

hey does the licence plate have to be mounted on the bumper or can it be in the window cus i was told by a minstry of transportation person that it just needs to be visable.

has to be on the furthest part of your bumper
if you do a search on this forum, the HTA will state that

you'll definetly get a ticket for that, I know many people that have without warnings or anything. You can also move to Montreal without worrying about that

what if your license plate isnt visible b/c its dirty? like REALLY DIRTY.. you cant even see my plates! front nor back b/c the mud n salt build up
could i get a ticket?

Not likely, but you could get one.
