I hate ignorant Chinese drivers!

Fully cutting into my lane late without signaling or checking the blind spot and then having the nerve to say 'I don't think it's entirely my fault, you were going too fast!' I was gonna just take the cash, but now I think my neck hurts, my back hurts, I struck a nerve and I have insomnia due to the trauma...Gonna definitely make this B**CH pay! Definitely in tears right now.

Sorry to hear about the mishap, but all in all, all drivers are just as bad. Nobody ever wants to admit that its their fault, nobody likes to be wrong. Also, depends where you drive around, brampton you have bunch of brown people driving like they are auditioning for fast and furious movies, markham bunch of chinese drivers cutting you off, and you go to east end and everybody and I mean every damn race is cutting you off, swerving nearly missing your front end.

Just word of advice, karma is a b!tch, get enough to fix your car and call it a day.

every race has bad drivers. Depends on the area .

I really dont see much damage in your car , kind of hard to believe all that pain you are going through with so little damage. I was rear ended 20 times worst that my car was almost a write off and the pain was gone a few days after..

Anyways , i would just take the money. Asuming thats all the damage to your car you only need a new fender and a new bumper , and a pain job. anywhere from 500-1000 bucks . You could even do it for less if you want to pocket some money. For what i see the bumper can be fix and a fender costs like 75 bucks. I know a shop that can do it for cheap and a decent job .

Just make sure the right side suspension gets checked out. Really there is not point going through your insurance for that kind of damage ...

Sorry to read about the mishap. Hopefully, you'll be ok after the initial body trauma settles and if necessary, you get checked out by a physician to make sure that you're alright. It's always such a hassle to have to go through the repairs and such, it's no wonder you're upset about the damage to your car. No matter who was driving the other vehicle, I feel bad for you and hope it all gets worked out to satisfaction very soon.

To be honest, I'm Chinese too...so it's kinda hard to say I posted this as a racist coz I'm really not...and I'm not trying to be stereotypical here, but you gotta admit, a majority of the time accidents happen in my area, there's always a Chinese guy on scene...I personally find it mildly humorous as a Chinese guy LOL! True, the damage seems minor, new fender, new bumper, new paint...the fact that pisses me off though is that the other driver totally think she's not entirely at fault by cutting into my lane LATE WITHOUT signaling. Didn't even offer to pay and tells me to go ahead and claim it! I just bought the car 2 months ago...I love my cars...very passionate about them, that's why I feel so bad about it...and isn't this why we're here? Becoz we LOVE our civics! Anywayz, thanks for the feed back guys, can't claim it til Monday when I talk to my insurance broker...went to the collision center today already. Please also take a minute to view and rate my sponsor vid...every lil view counts, my very first sponsor and I don't wanna disappoint...Lots of props and respect! Thanks!

^ Your car is super high. The amount of space you have in your wheel, im sure you can fit a baby in there or something of the same size. I know it's winter time.......but you need to at least get springs or something. It throws the whole look off the car, in my opinion anyways....

You could argue back, it's a VX there's no way you were going to fast!

Hope you aren't hurt too bad, money or no money, long term injury is not worth it.

Don't get me wrong though, I love the VX. you have the factory rims for it still? I think those, power coated white and some decent tires make a real nice looking rim on a dumped hatch. I've had 2 sets and regret letting either set go. Even if I did get a good deal in doing so. I wanna find a set and re-barrel them and throw on some real wide sticky tires, at least 2 for slicks up front at the track. They look like mini type R's.

Factory shift light FTW!

I thought I'd update it with some on topic news. 3rd party insurance agent called today asking about my side of the story, I told it in the most civil and honest manner as I could. The agent then tells me that her client claims there was never even an accident as her car was not damaged at all (2009BMW 328xi). What are your thoughts? Personally, I'm now all arrogant and conceded about winning this case...

Sorry to hear about your accident, they always suck!

... but are you really injured or you just attempting to 'screw' her?

Did you not get a witness to the accident? Sounds like the other insurance company is just trying to get out of the claim. It's all bullshit. It happens alot where one car is damage in an accident has a lot of damage and the other car invovled doesn't even have a scratch.

Did you tell your insurance company what the other insurance company is telling you? What did they say about it? It's not really your problem now if you already submitted a claim with your insurance company. It's your insurance company duty to fight with the other company.

did you take any pictures???, any witnesses??, police officer came to the scene

Honestly if you took no pictures, there was not witnesses, no police report , no insurance information from the party that hit you. Then good luck proving your case

When i got into n accident, i took as many pics s i could, i wrote down all the info from the person who hit me , i got myself an eyewitness (which you could if she wants to play dirty) , and i waited for the police officer to come to the scene and of course i wrote down who the policer officer was

good luck ! keeps us update it

btw , why are you dealing with the other party brooker , you should only be talking to your broker , thats why they get pay .

I m not 100% how it works , but lets say this was a court case , i would just talk to my lawyer (your broker) , i would not even talk to the other person lawyer !

Both parties filed a collision report. No officer on scene since the accident was minor. I do have a witness if needed. The 3rd party's broker wanted to hear my side of the story, that's why they called. I don't think the 3rd Party's story of 'There was no accident' would hold...or else she could of just driven off. Instead, we traded documents and signed everything! She probably is just feeling stupid right now for not admitting to be wrong in the first place and offer me cash. No I wasn't hurt, but I had the option of screwing her over by claiming to be since my employer owns a chiropractor practice as well. I didn't take the option though...I just want my car fixed and done with.

sorry but the story doesnt add up. If both parties filled a collision report ,why would she say there was not accident??... You could still call the police officer as the accident could be higher than 1000$ , you dont know if your right front suspension was damage .... Do you have any pictures when the accident happened?

Maybe she knows you didnt take any pics and maybe she didnt filed a collision report which is why she is saying there was not accident. But regardless be ready to prove your case as it seems to me she wants out of it ..

good luck!

I would also take your car to a bodyshop to get an estimate as she may want to go that route and you need to be ready

She told me she already went to the collision center. I already took my car to my local garage for an estimate and oil change yesterday. I'm so glad there was no damage to the chassis and the suspension...seems like I only have to replace the fender. It's the labor cost and the paint that's gonna cost me as it is a custom paint job and that worries me even though I have the paint code and formula for the paint. Anyways, no call today from the insurance company...I will have to call them tomorrow if this drags on though. I'll be heading out to the meet tonight! Come and you'll get to see first hand! Cheers and have a great day!
