I pay $135 a month, full coverage, no accidents or tickets, 1 claim for a break in on a 98Si. Once you get a little older it goes down alot. It depends on where you live too. The GTA is one of the most expensive areas to get insurance in. When I moved home from school in St. Catharines to Hamilton (where its also really high), my insurance went up almost $500. Move to a small town, or register it there and it will go down.

You guys are SPOILED!

ahaahah! WHAT! $4k is the highest bidder! PA-LEASE! I'm down $5k a year! <=unsafe driver! Ya, ya ya, i should be proud of this sorta thing but geeze, you gotta be able to laugh about it! No tickets (ever), one accident when i was 18 (of which they "suggested" we pay for and ended up counting against us) and one when i was 22 (earlier this year ahah totally my fault). My insurance company even made me raise my ride! "We don't insure modified cars..."...losers....

i pay $111 a month for full coverage - one at fault accident and one ticket in 2000 on a 95 Civic hatch - but then I'm an old fart - over thirty!!! hey i paid high rates too when i was under 25 - my first car was a 1978 Civic that I paid $300 for but was paying $1200 a year for just liability insurance.

You guys are all online and should seriously check out www.kanetix.com for comparative quotes of like 20 different companies - it only takes 5 minutes.

I'm currently getting group insurance rates that were arranged through the university i attended - you should check and see if you qualify for group rates through school, work, relatives etc.

B/f pays $370 full coverage for insurance.. used to be $250, then add on two write off's, and 7 speeding tickets, and not all of them have gone through yet

You are getting ripped off, time to go shopping Buff. I pay $88/month full coverage. Actually between Jeff and I this is what we get and what we pay:

2 cars - 98 Civic Si, 2001 Prelude SE
2 drivers
2 term life insurance policies
home owners policy
umbrella policy

around $250

Got insurance last night. Paying $290 a month liability only, no fire or theft. When I turn 19 next month it drops to $270, and if i ever get my G (3rd time's a charm) it drops to like $230 or $240. This is for a 1989 Chevy Z24. I went through a broker that Randy guy in London sent me to.

PS: My broker is really ******* cute. It made giving her my cash feel a little less harsh. My actual insurance is from ING.

Well, I am insured on 4 cars....technically
Mainly, primary on the Lemans and secondary on the CRX
then also insured on '93 Acclaim and '00 neon
And I also have a life insurance policy with them....and I pay around $70/month
And not to mention, there are three other ppl insured, which actually raises my insurance (damn MALE drivers.....don't tell my husband I said that) ...LMAO
