unless you got him on video tape saying that the blue were alright, but red wasn't then you look to be SOL..
i doubt you'll be able to get him to admit he said that..

sorry pal..

"ignorance of the law is not an excuse"

dude, i dont think u can fight that off, blinking red lights is a definate no no......!

tell u what, change your bulbs back to stock, take a picture with a date on it if u can(if no date, get the receipt of the developed film), and 95% your charge will be dropped!

G'luck, and let us know what happens!!

yeah you can't have anything red on the front of your car, the back is a different story, but take it to court and do the picture thing it can't hurt to try, you can't lose any more money than you would just paying the ticket straight out

Take it to court....tell the judge that you didn't know that they were illeagal (didn't say so on the package)....tell them that you changed it.......should be a susspended sentence.....you go home without paying anything.:working:

Red is a no
Blue is a no
if he siad blue doesnt bother him he is an idiot.
he cant say that it came with the car because if the judge is smart they would ask how it passed ertification/safety as lighting is a major part of this.

Red is the worse offender, used for ambulance, police, fire etc...

Blue is also illegal but not enfoced as much because blue is for snow plows, tow trucks, slow mving vehicles, etc...

You are 10 times more likely to get a ticket for red then for blue.

Ok lets set the record straight here.

Red is ILLEGAL anywhere on the front of the car. Whether it's flashing or not flashing.

Blue is NOT illegal. The HTA only restricts flashing blue lights. But you cannot have blue headlights or blue license plate lights because the HTA also restricts the colour of these two lights to being white only.
